Hunting Season 2012

As we begin to wind down the 2012 Hunting Season, We hope that everyone enjoyed a great hunting season here in South Dakota, full of great walks and easy camraderie between hunters! The temperate mild weather we are experiencing means that hunters are enjoying a long season this year. We thank everyone for making this a great season in 2012! |

We stayed three nights in April 2013 and were impressed with the cleanliness and privacy of the cabins. It was a bit of inconvenience having the office a couple of blocks away, having no housekeeping on Sunday and no phone in the room (our AT&T cell service was useless in Timber Lake). That aside, the cabins were very clean & well-maintained, the coffee & its condiments were good, the showerheads were higher than normal to accommodate tall guests, they provided ample towels for a room only sleeping four, and it DID have WiFi available. We had three small children with us, and since each cabin was freestanding we did not have the usual noise worries as in a hotel. The guests next door (also in our party) said they heard nothing from us!
